GSEB HSC GENERAL STREAM PURAK EX NOTIFICATION

GSEB HSC GENERAL STREAM PURAK EX NOTIFICATION

Teachers working with Key Stage pupils might, for instance, focus on the subject content of science and develop science skills from these areas of experience. This product centred approach could, for example, give rise to oral explanations and demonstrations of scientific knowledge, and, from time to time, practical activities designed to provide direct experience of phenomena with opportunities to explore and investigate these phenomena. In providing a conceptual structure to help the learner build a functional mental representation, the teacher highlights what is relevant and the nature of the relationships between the elements. For example, the teacher might explain the compressibility of air in a bicycle pump by describing it as dispersed particles which may be brought closer or else by comparing it with the behaviour of a spring.
In contrast, teachers might focus on the processes of science and develop scientific conceptual understanding from it. This process-centred approach could, for instance, offer the children experiments and investigations as starting points for acquiring conceptual knowledge with little or no direct teaching of concepts. In this case a conceptual structure is withheld. The onus is on the children to recall or construct a functional mental representation without reference to a teachers’ description of one. Pupils might infer relationships in the topic under study and may be given an opportunity to test and revise their ideas.
Of course, other teachers might focus on a combination of these two approaches and develop scientific skills and conceptual understanding from in this combination. This mixed approach could be a balance or, perhaps, a compromise, between a product-centred and a process-centred approach, in which the teacher provides a partial conceptual structure and leaves the remainder for children to construct by inferring, hypothesising, or testing their ideas. It could encourage lessons where children do investigations with some features already identified by the teacher, and with some conceptual knowledge about the subject that enables them to appreciate the purpose of the activity. In contrast, it could encourage lessons without a clear purpose which mixed different types of activity, but did not develop either conceptual or procedure understanding exclusively.
Science Activities and Experiments
Science activities help little learners of all ages understand important concepts, and these science activities for kids give them the opportunity to discover something completely new. What’s more, science activities are fun! Some, like Oobleck, are messy. Others are impressive, like the classic erupting volcano project. Whatever activity you end up trying, your child will be developing new skills as he forms predictions and makes observations. No matter where your child’s interests may lie, we have a science experiment that will teach him something cool and make him smile.

GUJARAT GOVERNMENT SCHOOL NAVARATRI VACATION RELATED LATEST IMPORTANT NEWS : NAVARATRI VACATION NAHI MALE

GUJARAT GOVERNMENT SCHOOL NAVARATRI VACATION RELATED LATEST IMPORTANT NEWS : NAVARATRI VACATION NAHI MALE

Despite protests from several schools across the state, the Gujarat government on Tuesday declared an eight-day Navratri vacation, from October 10 to October 17, for state-run or affiliated schools and colleges.

The government clarified that the decision will not be binding on schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE and other boards schools or educational institutions not affiliated to the Gujarat government.

Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, the state education minister, said the vacation was declared to ensure that the youth can enjoy the dance festival which has religious and cultural significance. “The Navratri vacation at schools will be between October 10 and October 17, including the Sunday on October 14. It will be followed by the Dussehra holiday on October 18.

The Navratri vacation will not adversely impact exam schedules as exams are to be held between October 22 and November 3. In the case of classes IX to XII, exams will be between October 19 and October 30.”

Considering opposition to the vacation from many schools, who fear it will interfere with the set academic schedule, Chudasama reiterated that the Navratri vacation will be adjusted with the Diwali vacation.

“The Diwali vacation, which earlier stretched to November 25, now will be from November 5 to November 18. November 4 is a Sunday. The hue and cry by certain elements and the Congress are politically motivated. Not a single day of the academic session has been sacrificed for the Navratri vacation. Seven days of the Diwali vacation have been adjusted against the Navratri vacation,” Chudasama said.

Chudasama said he has not received a representation opposing the Navratri vacation. He said the decision was not taken in haste. It was taken after consulting students and education experts.

Lok Sabha Election Results 2019 LIVE Updates: The much-anticipated day is finally here. The counting of votes for the 17th Lok Sabha elections will begin at 8 am Thursday, bringing the curtains down on one of the bitterly-contested parliamentary polls post Independence. While trends should start trickling in soon after, a clear picture is expected to emerge only late afternoon.

While most of the exit polls have indicated a pro-incumbency wave and projected that the BJP-led NDA will comfortably cross the halfway mark of 272 seats to form government, the Opposition parties have dismissed exit polls results, claiming that the BJP will suffer a major debacle due to rising unemployment, farm distress and slowdown in the economy.

The seven-phase polls were conducted between April 11 and May 19 in which around 67 per cent of the nearly 900 million eligible people exercised their franchise to elect 542 members of the Lok Sabha from a total of 8,049 contestants.

people's verdict on who rules the world's largest democracy for the next five years, will soon be known as counting of votes begin today for the general elections, held after the most polarised campaign the country has seen. Prime Minister Narendra Modi - whose BJP became the first party to gain majority on its own in three decades - seeks a second term in power in face of challenge from a re-energised Congress under Rahul Gandhi and 21 other opposition parties.

Exit polls have predicted that the BJP would retain power with a comfortable majority. The opposition has pointed out that the exit polls often get it wrong.

Elections were held on 542 of the 543 Lok Sabha seats and a party or alliance needs 272 seats to form government. The counting will begin at 8 am.

Loksabha Election 2019 Loksabha election result 2019

Loksabha Election 2019 Loksabha election result 2019

After the fierce electoral campaign for the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections, which saw over 8,000 candidates battle it out for 542 seats over five weeks, the day of reckoning has finally arrived. The counting of votes takes place today. Over 67 per cent of India's 90.99 crore electors had cast their vote in these elections, which is the highest-ever voter turnout in any parliamentary poll since independence.

Although the Election Commission has not yet revealed the exact number of counting centres, former chief election commissioner S. Y. Quraishi said last month that nearly 4,000 of them would be set up across the country.

Also Read: Lok Sabha Election 2019: PM Modi chairs Union Council of Ministers' meeting at BJP office

Here's all you need you know about counting day, how to keep track of the results and more:

What time will the counting of votes kick off?

The counting of votes will begin at 8 AM, starting with the postal ballots. The Returning Officer of the constituency and the Assistant Returning Officer will take the oath to maintain the secrecy of voting and read it out aloud before the commencement of counting. As per the Election Commission (EC) guidelines, the process of counting votes from the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will begin 30 minutes after this. The counting of postal ballots for each Parliamentary constituency will be taken up in one of the Assembly segment counting halls. In the remaining halls vote counting will begin at 8 am.

The final results of Lok Sabha election 2019 might be announced around 10 pm on May 23, which is several hours later than usual. The delay is because the tallying of the VVPAT slips with EVM count has increased from one to five per assembly segment, following the April 8 Supreme Court order. This process of counting is expected to take well over five hours per constituency because the physical verification will be done sequentially for five EVMs. The counting of VVPAT slips per EVM takes up to one hour.

The tallying process will only begin after the last round of counting. To ensure that there is a single source of authentic data, the EC has emphasised that round-wise data must be entered into its Suvidha application. The EC officials can log into the app and feed in the data. This will be done before the round results are declared at the counting centres.

Another delaying factor that could come into play is the number of rounds in each assembly segment. For example, Delhi has 70 assembly constituencies and in all of them, 350 VVPATs will be counted. According to the officials in Delhi CEO's office, every assembly segment had 200 polling stations and five polling stations will be selected randomly. This will delay the announcement of formal results.

How to keep track of the trends and results through counting day?

The Election Commission will be disseminating vote count results through the portal https://results.eci.gov.in from 8 am onwards Thursday. For real-time trends you could also download the Voter Helpline App or track the news channels. You can also follow the live blog on BusinessToday. In or watch the live coverage on India Today TV.

After the declaration of results in all constituencies, which authority will constitute the new Lok Sabha?

According to Section 73 of the R. P. Act, 1951, after the results of all Parliamentary constituencies are declared, the Election Commission will constitute the new Lok Sabha by notifying in the official gazette, the names of the elected members

Gujarat fix pay case full details: Gujarat government fix pay Employees news

The Gujarat government will be recruiting 50,000 employees for class III posts on fixed pay in the coming months. The govt. has asked all state departments to “immediately start recruiting”.

The fixed pay policy of the state government was shot down by the Gujarat HC which has asked the state government to pay wages as per the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations to all fixed pay employees. Following this the state government had stopped the entire recruitment process. But the government approached the SC in May and got relief as the HC order was stayed by the SC. Following this.

With the elections nearby in the state, the state govt. is speeding up the process of filling up the vacant posts of class III employees. Departments have been asked to fill vacant posts without delay, “disregarding the powers for recruitment currently vested in Gujarat Public Service Commission, Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board and Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board.”

Majority of the recruitment will be done by the education department, to meet the criterions for implementation of Right to Education.  Education department  will recruit – shiksha sahayaks for higher secondary classes at a fixed pay of Rs 10,000 per month, shikshan sahayaks for secondary level classes for Rs 9,400, vidya sahayaks for primary schools for Rs 5,300, and saathi sahayaks (helpers) for Rs 4,500. An informal group of fixed-wage employees of Gujarat — Team Fix Pay, which is coordinating the legal fight in the Supreme Court against the Gujarat government’s controversial policy of employing people on fixed wage for five years before regularising them — has decided to protest on February 16 when the policy will enter into 14th year.

The group has decided that all the state government employees who have been recruited under the fixed-wage policy will, first, give a memorandum to the concerned head of the department with a demand to end the policy immediately and second, work wearing black ribbon as a mark of protest on February 16.
