According to the details submitted by the state government to the High Court, the vacant posts of the non-weapon police constables and 3 of the weapons-constables are vacant. While the non-weapon police inspector's posts and sub-inspector's posts are vacant, In addition, there are only six vacancies of various categories in the state police reserve force. Out of these vacancies, it is proposed to recruit 2-3 posts for 5 posts. Suomoto filed a complaint by the High Court on the condition of working conditions for the police and several important vacancies in the state. In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court in the 6th, the state government said that in the state, 5 seats were vacated in the state on January 1, against the sanctioned establishment of a total of 1.5 lakh police forces. Subsequently, on March 7, the Supreme Court ordered the High Court to take suoamoto action and asked the state of Gujarat to clarify the current situation of the police department.
