In an effort to increase the birth rate of girls and to combat female fetid, the Gujarat government has launched ‘Gujarat Vahali Dikri Yojna 2019’ in the budget. The Central Government has implemented the Seventh Pay Commission for its employees from 1/1/16. Later, the seventh pay commission was accepted by the Gujarat government. At that time, the central government formed a committee and soon after the new pay commission, the central government ordered to pay 8 per cent in rural areas, 16 per cent in urban areas and 24 per cent in big cities. But more than five lakh state employees have been deprived of housing benefits for the last four years.
