Aloe vera and calendula oil



The soothing and cooling properties of aloe vera make it a nice natural moisturizer. In a bowl, add few freshly extracted aloe vera gel and keep aside. To this, add a some drops of calendula oil and mix better. This oil has antioxidant properties that can aid reduce pain and swelling. Clean your hands and apply a liberal layer of this gel over the affected areas post waxing. Let it dry and then wash with tepid water. Apply a moisturizing lotion. 


Cool compress

 


Bring a bag of frozen peas or ice and wrap in a soft towel. Massage the affected areas with this for a some minutes. Repeat at least 2 or 3 times till the pain and swelling decrease . The cool compress helps the healing process.


Cucumber



Cucumber aids soothe red and inflamed skin, thanks to its antioxidant and cooling properties. Cut a cucumber into thin slices and freeze for 1 hour. Rub these slices directly over the affected areas for a some minutes. You can even blend the cucumber into a paste and apply directly over the waxed part.


Witch hazel



Witch hazel acts as a natural astringent, and can therefore aid soothe inflamed and dry skin post waxing. The tannin present in the oil further aid reduce redness of skin. Soak a cotton pad in a bowl filled with 3 tablespoons of witch hazel and apply on the affected area.


Apply apple cider vinegar

 


Apple cider vinegar can work wonders on inflamed skin, decreasing pain or redness. Mix 1 cup of raw apple cider vinegar in a bucket of warm water. Utilize this mix to bathe. Besides, you can even apply the healing solution over the affected areas utilizing a soft cotton towel or cotton pads.
